There are no shortages on Peruvian restaurants in Miami, but one more can’t hurt, right? Such is the case with 1111 Peruvian Bistro, which just opened in Brickell.
The kitchen is helmed by executive chef, Geancarlo Mayorga, along with chef and partner Diego Munoz, who has done stints in kitchens like El Bulli, Mugaritz in Spain and most recently Astrid y Gaston in Lima. On their menu expect plenty of classic Peruvian dishes with an Asian twist like a variety of seafood options, lots of ceviches, antichuchos along with meat options such as filet mignon and duck prune terrine marinated in Peruvian sauces.
The restaurant is now open at 1111 SW 1st Ave, Suite 106D. Monday through Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. and 6 to 10:30 p.m., and to 11:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.
