You know the awesomely sweet lady behind Lee & Marie's Cakery, Andy Travaglia? Well, she's opening up something on the savory side, a new Miami Beach restaurant called Bar Crudo, which is scheduled to soft open this Thursday, August 8.
Others behind the new eatery are general manager Ken Ray of the Maso Hospitality Group (folks from Charles St.) and chef Reto Von Weissenfluh who will be creating "simple yet sophisticated plates of raw delights". As far as concept goes, think "modern coastal cuisine" that's all about local farm to table produce and sustainable seafood. Ambience wise, the spot's to be a "warm, cozy café with an eclectic collection of artwork". Bar Crudo plans to be open Thursday through Monday, from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m.
