After months and months of construction and pulling it all together, Jonathan Wakefield's J. Wakefield Brewery is finally ready to open. Short Order reports "the brewery will start production"at the end of September in anticipation of an October opening of the tap room." As for that tap room, Wakefield tells the blog its, "industrial chic with a side of geek." Think cast iron piping meets light saber taps.
Tap room brews will include an "IPA, a porter, a coconut hefeweizen, and a pineapple kolsch," as well as other, seasonal offerings. And if you can't make it down to the brewery to fill up, Wakefield's beers will also be available at various Miami restaurants. For more information on the upcoming brewery, head over this way. Stay tuned for official opening dates and don't forget to send us any tips via the tipline.
