Fans of the foodiepalooza known as the 2010 Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival are lining up, like, now, to purchase tickets to the February 25-28 homage to all things Yum-o! And y'all shouldn't churn on it too long because unlike last year, this year there will not be a second block of tickets sold in early 2010 so if you don't get them now, you may find yourself festival-starved.
Tickets go on sale Monday, October 26 at www.sobewineandfoodfest.com. Among the highlights of this year's fest: Amstel Light Burger Bash presented by Allen Brothers and hosted by Rachael Ray; Perrier Jouet BubbleQ hosted by Emeril Lagasse and Friends; Cocktail Time with (who else?) Sandra Lee at the Versace Mansion; Guy Fieri's Moon Over Miami Closing Party; and the grand dame of the entire ball, The 2010 Tribute Dinner honoring Daniel Boulud with emcee Gail Simmons and dinner prepared by Paul Bartolotta, Eric Ripert, Michael Laiskonis, Nobu Matsuhisa, Gordon Maybury, Claude Troisgros and featuring an exclusive champagne reception from Cristal. Yes, Cristal. Recession, where?
