DOWNTOWNYogen Früz, 100 S. Biscayne, is introducing three new flavors—Mocha Coffee, Chai Latte and Cinnamon Crunch—on December 1. Yum. But we never knew Yogen Früz meant 'Frozen Starbucks' in Swedish. [EaterWire].
A&M DISTRICT—Beer, it seems, is the new bubbly, although for seasoned hopsters, there's no comparison. That said, The Urbanite Bistro is launching a series of monthly beer dinners hosted by Chris Montelius of South Florida's Fresh Beer. Dinners will feature six courses with signature craft beer pairings for $35 plus tax and tip. The first one is on November 20 at 8:30 p.m. Seating must be reserved by Wednesday, November 18. 305-374-0662. [EaterWire]
ARSHT CENTER—For obsessive fans of Anthony Bourdain, Jacques Pépin and Eric Ripert, this is old news. But for mildly obsessive fans, just a heads up to let everyone know that tix are going fast to Johnson & Wales University and Adrienne Arsht Center's Celebrity Chef Series at the John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall on November 13 at 8 p.m. A regular ticket will get you into the main event as the trio of chefs wax nostalgic on their illustrious careers. Unfortunately, VIP tickets to the post show cocktail party with the chefs have already sold out. If you're lucky you may find Bourdain at his own post VIP party at Club Deuce. Tickets are $25-$125. 305-949-6722. [EaterWire]
