Open today is Luna Corner Pizza, a gourmet Italian pizzeria on the corner of 69th and Biscayne, which promises fresh pies baked and ready in under five minutes. While that's yet to be tested, Luna promises authenticity with owners hailing from Crema, Italy where they have over 40 years in the pizza making biz and Corner Pizza places in China and France. The menu offers five signature flavors and weekly specialty pizzas including the Napoli--Italian style mozzarella, capers, anchovies, onion and basil, and the Verdure--mozzarella, green pepper, eggplant, zucchini, onion and basil, all made in a traditional Italian stone oven. And as with any new eatery, small, large, fast-food or slow-food, Luna boasts LCD TVs. But what we really care about is that under five minute promise.
