D Rodriguez Restaurant Coming to the Astor

Not since Chef Johnny Vinczencz's original stint there in the early 90s has the Hotel Astor been a culinary hot spot. Restaurants have come and gone through the proverbial revolving door like an ungainly contestant on a dating reality show. But not for long. Star Chef Douglas Rodriguez is opening D Rodriguez Restaurant at the Astor featuring the signature progressive Latin menu responsible for the success of his other Miami establishment, Ola at the Sanctuary. Mouthpieces say to expect the place to open in early December.
