2009_03_gordocooking.jpgShort Order went behind the scenes of the casting for Gordon Ramsay's new show MasterChef. Said Miami judge and chef/owner of Talula, Frank Randazzo, "I'm impressed with the level of food a lot of people came in with. I thought it would be awful, but there have been a lot of really great cooks and flavors. The worst thing I tried so far was a bowl of mussels. The best was a dish of carnitas, y'know, the little pork tacos." According to casting director Goloka Bolte, the show films in LA in March and, well, "This show is all about the food." With Ramsay involved, it's never all about the food, but we shall see. [Short Order]
