Taking place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on October 17th at Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill: the first ever Ceviche Throwdown, a collaboration between the Miami International Wine Fair and the spirited gang of food devotees known as the South Florida Foodies benefiting Friends of the Fisherman. Among the participants: Sugarcane's Timon Balloo, Douglas Rodriguez, Jonathan Eismann, Kris Wessel, Andrea Randazzo, Phillip Bryant (Norman's 180), Juan Chipoco (Ceviche 105), Tim Andriola, Dena Marino and Clay Conley. The judges: Channel 7's Belkys Nerey, Slow Food Miami's Leticia de Mello Bueno, Friends of the Fisherman communications director Ashley Roth and wine educator Charlie Arturaola.
