A coffee shop opening in mid-November at 2390 NW 2nd Ave. in Wynwood called Panther Coffee, hailing from an Oregon-based java co. that was conveniently incorporated in the state of Florida on December 31, 2009 and featuring beans "from carefully chosen producers" . Not just any coffee shop, this one, described on its Twitter account as a "Boutique Coffee Roastery and Coffee Bar," will feature an artisanal coffee roastery on site and from what we can tell, it's MO is to, uh, 'bucks the system and give a jolt to that other pacific Northwestern-based coffee brewery.
