Shooting for a next season opening is The Laughing Heart, the completely organic, hormone and pesticide free restaurant/juice bar/tea house within The Sacred Space Miami which just happens to be event planner Karla Dascal's event space at 105 NE 24th St. also called, well The Space. (Full disclosure, I got married at The Space almost 5 years ago). We spoke with Dascal, who tells us that although the holistic wellness center cum event space is currently hosting lectures, events and, yes, weddings, plans include an expanded garden and the restaurant, designed by Rene Gonzalez and featuring a raw chef, a vegan chef and "the freshest, most vibrant cuisine available."
