After losing chef Jonathan Wright to the swank Sandy Lane Resort in Barbados, The Setai has appointed David Werly as executive chef. Werly, who trained under Alain Ducasse, brings lots of mileage to his position, most recently hailing from the Michelin starred, Five Diamond awarded AAA Le Cirque in Las Vegas, with stints at the two-star Michelin Hotel Ritz in Paris, two-star Michelin restaurant Le Précatelan Lenotre in Paris and as executive chef at Auberge d’Artzenheim Restaurant in Alsace, France.
