Art Smith Hosts First Annual World Festival Miami

Art Smith of Top Chef Masters and Oprah personal chefdom fame also happens to be co-founder of the national non-profit organization, Common Threads, which celebrates its first ever World Festival Miami from 7:30 to 10:30pm on November 1 at the Palms Hotel & Spa, 3025 Collins Ave. Proceeds from the event benefit the organization's after-school cooking classes for low income chikdren ages eight to 12.

While Smith will host, Michelle Bernstein, John Critchley, Samuel Gorenstein, Dean Max, Kris Wessel, Mark Zeitouni and Frank Jeannetti, among others, will cook. Tickets are $125 and can be purchased here. [EaterWire]
