Status: After a long, hot summer of construction, permits and, well, Miami, Wine Depot & Bistro 555 is now open. The 6,700 square foot, warehouse-style wine store, wine bar, bistro, market and rooftop event space is open Mon-Sat from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and features wines and champagnes starting at $35 a bottle, by the glass selections ranging from $7 to $30 and a menu featuring sandwiches, salads, charcuterie, soups, spreads and canapé. The market sells caviar, cheeses, meats, sausages and more. Miami's version of a French Eataly, perhaps? Time will tell. [EaterWire]
