Status: Opening to the public on Friday, October 15 is 1500°, a 10,000 square foot "farm to table restaurant with a heavy steakhouse sensibility" featuring executive chef Paula DaSilva, ex of 3030 Ocean and a finalist on Hell's Kitchen before it became culinary vaudeville. In keeping up with the South Beach Joneses, Eden Roc also brought in nightlife and restaurant pro Seth Greenberg to oversee the restaurant. “Our goal is to appeal to visitors and locals alike,” said DaSilva. “Whether you’re a foodie tourist on a culinary exploration of Miami’s best restaurants, or a local looking for an exquisite meal in a gorgeous setting, 1500° will fit the bill.” [EaterWire]
