As is the tradition at Eater, our closeout of the year is a survey of friends, industry types, bloggers, and readers. This year, we asked the group eight questions, from Meal of the Year to Biggest Dining Surprises. All will be answered by the time we turn off the lights at the end of the week. Responses are related in no particular order; all are cut, pasted and unedited herein.

What and where was your single best meal in 2010?
Ryan Roman, Digester-in-Chief, Miami's Restaurant Power Rankings: NAOE, every time. Let's just say I've digested more cod milt than a female cod.
Belkys Nerey, news anchor, WSVN-7: Zuma--OMG YUM!!!
Jose Duran, Web Editor/MiamiNew Times: Gigi, a filet mignon fried rice special of the day. The sofrito was unbelievable. I hope McInnis adds it one day to the every-day menu.
ErGagit, blogger: Truffled chicken at Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill.
The Chowfather, blogger: Father's Day brunch at Michael's Genuine Food & Drink with the Chowtoddlertwins.
LAX2MIA, ex-blogger and self professed Guy That Despises Sucky Food and the People That Like It: NAOE--Bento Box that included cod sperm sack. I've finally come to grips with that experience so I can talk about it.
Paul Castronovo, host of the Paul and Young Ron show/owner of Castronovo Vineyards: The pear raviolini in butter sage and Reggiano cheese sauce at Casa D'Angelo in Boca. Roman-born chef Rickie Piper blew me away with these tiny, yet completely fulfilling little pasta purses filled with heaven.
Frodnesor, Food For Thought blogger: Asador Etxebarri in Spain's Basque Country.
Maria Argüello, Senior Community Manager, Yelp Miami: Sra. Martinez, a table full of tapas. Plus I'm a sucker for their new lemon curd, strawberry ham pancakes. Runner up: seafood lasagna at MaiTardi.
Eleanor Hoh, Wok Star cooking teacher: Special Rijsstafel Feast at Indomania when I had my Hoh Wok Club gathering.
