Plywood Report

theforgeexterior2.jpgWhen someone Tweeted they were en route to check out the new and improved version 2.0 of The Forge under the culinary direction of Chef Dewey LoSasso last night, we logically assumed it was out of redesign lockdown and ready for its close up. Not quite. According to a publicist, only the restaurant's East Room has remained open during the renovations, hosting a few "select, private dinners," such as last night's and one a few months back for Governor Charlie Crist. As for the unveiling of the rest of the place, said publicist tells us they are very close and will be announcing an opening date "very, very soon." [EaterWire]
