Just when we finally got around to ordering from and loving it, South Beach's SandOlab, it seems, has shut down operation. After last week's excellent order (so good that we called them to tell them so, to which we were asked, "Thanks, can you put that on Yelp?), we called back on Wednesday with stalker-like fury, only to be met by the voice mail. Taking a cue from Swingers, we left an incoherent message begging for a sandwich--or at least a return call. Nothing. Today, we are told the place is kaput. FinitOlab. Shame. [EaterWire]
