Here's a bit of an inside look at Barú Urbano, or its artwork at least, opening to the public on February 11. As for the cuisine, it's "continental/global with a Latin flair," says a publicist, with "hints from Colombia, Venezuela, Thailand, Italy and beyond." Highlights of the menu include an array of ceviches, Chef Gabriel Petrovich's "Baru Dip" made of leeks and served in a bread bowl, beet risotto, smoked salmon pasta and, says the spin, "a selection of the freshest seafood and highest quality meats served with exotic sauces like tamarind, guasacaca, amaretto and Thai peanut."
