Arzak%20Recetas.pngThis just in: we have it on very excellent authority that the father of Spain's legendary alta cocina movement, Juan Mari Arzak, who has said that "the ambition of every cook is to have his dishes permanently incorporated into the cuisine of his country," will be attending the South Beach Wine & Food Festival. While Arzak won't be doing any demos, he will be at the private chefs' after party at the Tides Hotel following the Bubble Q and Best of the Best events. Says the fest's Lee Schrager, "He's just coming as a guest. He wanted to see the festival." [EaterWire]
