Taking the concept of all-you-can-eat sushi to an infinitely more gluttonous level, RA Sushi and Yelp.com are hosting the Second Annual Maki Madness Sushi Eating Contest on Wednesday, March 31 from 6pm-9pm. Not just for big mouthed bragging rights, the contest is in support of Radio Lollipop, the in-house radio station at Miami Children's Hospital. The contest will test the intestinal fortitude of those who can suck down two uncut Tootsy Maki (crab mix, shrimp and cucumber topped with tempura bits) rolls the fastest before advancing to the next round where they'll have to eat as many as they can in two minutes. Grand prize is free sushi for a year. Tums not included. Contest is limited to 30 entries. Entry includes a $10 fee which will be donated to the charity. Deadline to register is Monday, March 29 and all participants must be 18 or older. Click here for the entry form which must be dropped off at the restaurant in person. For more information, call 305-341-0092. [EaterWire]
