photo_janssens.jpgYannis Janssens, recently named one of Dessert Professional's Top Ten Pastry Chefs 2010, has been appointed Executive Pastry Chef for the entire, mammoth 1,500+ room Fontainebleau resort, making him almost as powerful as Willy Wonka. Janssens, who hails from The Setai and The Viceroy, won the International C3 Competition in Madrid and acted as Panel Judge at the Grand Concours Culinaire in The Netherlands, where he was also invited to demo modern chocolate technique at the International Gastronomy Conference: European Fine Food Fair.
