Early Plywood Report

pt.jpegPacific Time isn't gone just yet. In fact, there's at least a month before the transformation into El Scorpion begins. In celebration of the final summer of Pacific Time, chef/owner Jonathan Eismann, who has created quite a stir with is latest news, will be re-introducing Pacific Time classics including the Tempura Beef Negamaki and the Seaweed Salad with Hijiki. Mouthpieces tell us the restaurant will remain open through the summer. Not so, however, for the South Beach space formerly known as Tuscan--er, El Scorpion. That's already closed in preparation for its new incarnation as Q American Barbeque. No word on that opening yet, but stay tuned. [EaterWire]
