Early Plywood Report

New, 1 comment

americannoodlebar.jpgAlthough its website says "Coming Summer 2010," we'll be patient for American Noodle Bar, former Wish chef Michael Bloise's baby which he describes as "a hip, quick service restaurant that will offer delicious American-Asian inspired noodle dishes and street foods as well as great beer and wine." And though its Facebook page only lists Biscayne Blvd. as the address, the sign has gone up next door to Kingdom. As for the food, hints have been left on the F-book page, including corn dogs--"but not your ordinary corn dog," and a "juicy bowl o' noodles: garlicky pork meatballs, basil butter sauce, and a fried egg." Plywood progress includes recently installed air conditioning. Prediction for opening? August. Late August. Follow the progress on Twitter here. [EaterWire]
