Status: It's no secret that when it comes to restaurants in Coconut Grove, chances of their survival are as good as the chances of Paula Deen using I Can't Believe It's Not Butter in her recipes. But there are a few exceptions, one being George's in the Grove, the Francophile's haute spot that, as of tonight, now has a second, bigger location (with full bar!) in South Miami. Fun factoid: former Miami Hurricanes quarterback Craig Erickson is one of owner Georges-Eric Farge's biz partners, though many Georges fans already knew that. [EaterWire]
