School Lunches

lunchbox.jpegA far cry from typical college or high school cafeteria food, Florida International University's School of Hospitality and Tourism Management has launched its Fall Semester 2010 Dining Events, a lunch series open to the public three days a week for $18 per person. The three-course lunches will be offered every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday now through December 3 at the school's dining room, HM Building, Room 129, Biscayne Bay Campus. Menus change weekly, focusing on a specific cuisine or theme and including appetizer or salad, bread, entree, dessert, glass of wine and coffee. Seating starts at 11:45 a.m. and dress code is biz casual. For those who want to eat there all three days, there's a $45 package. Lunches must be paid for in advance by calling 305-919-4526.
