Status: Opening on February 1, Fadó Irish Pub and Restaurant in Mary Brickell Village is location number 14 for the Celtic chain designed and manufactured in Ireland and then assembled by Irish crafstmen and artisans right here in the 305. The five-room pub will serve spirits, suds and brunch, lunch, small plates and seasonal fare. Available in various incarnations is the "boxty," the house specialty---a traditional Irish pancake using finely grated potatoes. Live Celtic music and weekend dance parties, too. With the addition of Fadó to a 'hood that already includes Brickell Irish Pub and Waxy O'Connor's, we're starting to think that "Brickell" is Irish for "Little Dublin."
