Plywood Update

cityh.jpgMore on City Hall, the new restaurant opening at 2004 Biscayne Blvd. sometime this month or next: chef is Tom Azar, formerly of Emeril Lagasse's restaurants in NOLA, Orlando and Miami. Menu will be broken up into cheeky categories such as "Breaking the Law," which will include thick-cut bacon with truffle sauce, cheese studded onion soup dumplings and timpano di maccheroni, a meatball filled pasta dome. Legal-sounding main courses include sesame seared salmon, country style meatloaf, tilapia burger, oyster po' boy, crispy fried chicken and house cured pastrami, corned beef and brisket. City Hall will be open daily for lunch and dinner. Stay tuned for opening date info. [EaterWire]
