Chef James King of the farm to table Verdea restaurant in North Palm Beach will open Brickell Avenue's Edge, Steak & Bar in the Four Seasons Miami. After garnering popularity at Verdea, King will begin his third stint with the Four Seasons after previous head chef gigs at The Bistro at the Four Season Palm Beach and Quattro at the Four Seasons Silicon Valley. Roy Villacrusis, the consulting chef for Dirty Martini at Downtown at the Gardens, will be the a part owner and chef of Kapow Noodle Bar in Boca Raton's Mizner Park. Teaming with the restaurateurs behind Longboards in West Palm Beach as well as The Dubliner and Pizza Fusion in Ft. Lauderdale, Villacrusis will open Kapow as a "New York-style noodle bar" featuring steamed buns, pho noodle bowls and various other pan-Asian dishes. ---Matt Tylka [EaterWire]
