Status: Opening in mid-December the space formerly known as Nemo, Lolita Cocina & Tequila Bar, with locations in Greenwich and Boston, they say, is a "burlesque-inspired Mexican dining experience." No, really, they do. “We are an R-?rated experience,” says Jody Pennette, CEO of CB5 Restaurant Group. "Lolita isn't for the faint of heart, but for those who want to reclaim their youthful energy and harken back to their days as a 'bad boy' in college." Wait staff will sport "sexy attire." Sounds like XXX for Greenwich, but anyway, about the food. "This isn't a chips and salsa joint, but rather a mind blowing dinner affair," promises the press materials. On the menu: chili rubbed short rib nachos; ahi tuna tostada; lobster enchiladas; carne asada and more. A tequila cage will feature over 120 different kinds with shots ranging from $10 to $100.[EaterWire]
