More fresh fish is coming to the island as Thierry Beaud, co-owner of Clematis' popular French bistro Pistache, and his group of Palm Beach investors are bringing life back to 251 Sunrise in the form of PB Catch. Formerly a lounge, because of course the term "nightclub" is deemed unacceptable on Palm Beach, the restaurant space will feature locally caught seafood served in a casual nautical dining room, think "a modern yacht", accented with white-leather banquettes and mahogany floors. Beaud is coming back to Palm Beach, with experience managing the island's Cafe L'Europe and Flagler Steakhouse, after time spent on the other side of the bridge. PB Catch's kitchen will be executed by chef de cuisine Aaron Black, a local, preparing such seafood standards as a seared jumbo sea scallops appetizer served with summer beans, oyster mushrooms in an orange broth, a macadamia nut and zucchini crusted grouper entree, a Maine lobster roll, and a complete raw bar. PB Catch will be open for dinner daily, except on Sundays, and hopes to open some time in mid December. --Matt Tylka [EaterWire]
