"Writing my first cookbook has been an amazing journey. The process was cathartic. It became much more than just writing recipes. My life has been filled with drive, focus and clarity," says Goldsmith from New York City where she is preparing desserts for tonight's Lemon:NYC event hosted by chef Jonathan Waxman in support of the Alex's Lemonade Stand charity. "I am so lucky that I love what I do for a living. If this book inspires readers to bake with passion, I have done what I set out to do."
