Status: No mystery here, Crumb on Parchment is indeed Michelle Bernstein's latest Design District offering, a comfy cozy, inexpensive cafe with free WiFi serving lunch and breakfast all day with a menu that's homey, unpretentious and simple. Keeping it in the family, Bernstein's mother Martha is doing the baking and the Michy-made menu will feature sandwiches and salads. Despite being a food media magnet and one of Miami's biggest culinary stars, Bernstein remains low keyed and so, she hopes, will Crumb on Parchment. "We saw a niche in the Design District for a comfortable cafe," she told Eater Miami, "and Crumb on Parchment was born.
