Closing out the season with a buzz, Slow Food Miami is hosting a screening of Vanishing of the Bees at the Coral Gables Cinema, 260 Aragon Ave., at 6:30 p.m. on May 4. The film's director, Maryam Henein will be there as will free champagne. As for the film's plot, well, it's about, uh, vanishing bees. No symbolism there. Tickets are $14, 100% of which will go to support the building of local school and community based gardens.
