Status: In an attempt to fill Miami's quintessential New York bagel void, Delray Beach-based The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co. will open on South Beach at 6 a.m. on May 10. The spin here is that everything is made from their trademarked "Brooklynized" water created from the company’s 14-step proprietary water technology. Open 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday – Thursday and 24 hours on Fridays and Saturday, the first 50 customers to show up will receive six free bagels and six bottles of that Brooklynized™ water. Maybe someone should see if see if it works on pizza, too?
