Tapas-Style M Bar Opening Friday on Las Olas

Status: Restaurateur Jack Mancini is planning to open two restaurants in one 10,000-square foot space with one of them, M Bar, a tapas-style restaurant, soft opening on Friday, June 24 with a grand opening on July 7. M-Bar's executive chefs are former 1500 Degrees at the Eden Roc's Kevin Andersen and his sister Lauren Andersen of Chicago's Moto Restaurant. The menu will feature cold plates with Mediterranean, Asian, Italian and Middle Eastern influences as well as bar snacks including sausage and onion-flavored popcorn and crispy pig ears with hot sauce powder. In October, Mancini will reintroduce a redesigned Mancini's Restaurant a separate, walled off restaurant within the space, featuring outdoor patio, sidewalk bar and wood burning pizza oven.---Lily Rano [EaterWire]
