Trying to defy the oft-stupefying "South Beach time" when it comes to restaurant openings and forging ahead towards its anticipated Fall opening, Yardbird Southern Table & Bar, the post-Gigi project by Jeff McInnis at 16th and Lenox on South Beach, is making progress, or so we're told. We're not sure what's going on behind these window coverings, but we'd like to assume it's construction. Build, chicken, build. Stay tuned for more details as we get 'em.
