Old Fort Lauderdale Breakfast House to Open August 8

Telephone: 954-530-7520
Status: An all-breakfast menu concept? It will be here on Monday, August 8 thanks to Old Fort Lauderdale Breakfast House. Rodney Ely, a restaurant pioneer in the historical downtown area, is opening shop where Village Pie never did – in an historic 1925 building located on Himmarshee Street.

Why a breakfast only menu? Says Ely, “I have a track record of serving breakfast all day. Many people love going to a place that will serve them breakfast past traditional breakfast hours.” The menu will reflect farm fresh ingredients – free range eggs and organic flour, along with specialty roast house coffee, omelettes, homemade biscuits, and real Vermont maple syrup on their cast iron baked buttermilk pancakes. O-B/House, as it’s being called for short, will open for breakfast through 3:00 p.m. daily. Click here for the menu.--Lourdes Diaz [EaterWire]
