Status: The product of a NYC restaurateur (Mathew Glazier) and members of South Beach club conglomeration The Opium Group (Roman Jones, Justin Levine), Kane Steakhouse aspires to "raise the bar by offering spectacular decor, a great vibe, with exceptional cuisine and flawless service," says its 28-year-old-chef Daniel Ganem, formerly of BLT Steak. Menu includes crispy salt cod dumplings with salsa verde; roasted Berkshire bacon with apple-fennel slaw; duck fat potato chips and, oh yeah, steaks. Lots of steaks.
