Two Tasty Thai Spots: Tamarind & Sawaddee Thai Sushi

This week, Lee Klein reviews two Thai restaurants on Normandy Isle, Tamarind Thai and Sawaddee Thai Sushi, both which "are spot on in terms of cooking authentically tasty Thai cuisine." As for Sawaddee, its "smallness works to its advantage," where service is "perhaps too attentive." As for the pad Thai, Klein preferred Tamarind's version. Tamarind, incidentally "eschews sushi and instead presents an extensive menu that includes some regional Thai specialties not found down the block." Bottom line: "Tamarind is more extensive and a little more expensive than at Sawaddee, but either makes a great choice for lunch or dinner." [MNT]
