The National Hotel has a new "mixology series," showcasing cocktails by Julio Cabrera, former bar manager at Michy's and Sra. Martinez. Taking place from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. every Monday in the hotel's Martini Room, the series will featuring a changing weekly theme (for instance, the Asucas, a cocktail shaken in honor of Celia Cruz), $12 cocktails, tapas starting at $6, live music and a "discounted" valet parking rate of $10.
