Status: After passing all its inspections, Pubbelly's sushi sibling will open on October 1. A 40-seat "sushi tavern," Pubbelly Sushi will feature a menu by Chef Yuki Ieto including "American sushi classics," Pubbelly rolls, "New England-style rolls," rotating marinated sashimi, and robata dishes. A Sunakku menu will feature items such as homemade tofu, "southern fried soft shell crab" and "Buffalo-style rock shrimp tempura." A drink menu of 20 sakes, wines and a rotating selection of 15 craft and micro brews. Hours: noon to 5 p.m. daily, 6 p.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays. No reservations accepted. [EaterWire]
