Joining the deal bandwagon in Miami is Savored, which bills itself as "the web's leading service for accessing insider pricing at premier restaurants nationwide," launching a "significant partnership with OpenTable" on Tuesday, September 27. Formerly known as VillageVines, Savored will offer 30 percent off the price of their entire meal at premier restaurants on select dates and times in exchange for a $10 reservation fee. These deals, they say, are being offered in part to "help fill more restaurant tables that would otherwise go empty." Hmm. Ten bucks (excluding tax, tip and, oh, right, the bill) to eat in an otherwise empty restaurant for 30 percent off which doesn't include an explanation as to why the restaurant was empty in the first place. You decide. [EaterWire]
