Status: Opening Tuesday, September 27, Harry's Pizzeria is Michael Schwartz's latest endeavor, or, rather, the one that will come before he takes over at The Raleigh, a "casual neighborhood joint bringing more fresh, simple, pure food & drink to the Miami Design District," according to the website. The restaurant is doing the usual friends and family dinners over the weekend to iron out the kinks. Harry's will be open Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Closed Sundays, no reservations, and no delivery. Among some of the menu highlights: MGFD Bacon Pizza starring the bacon smoked at MGFD, fingerling potatoes, caramelized onions, aged Gruyere and finished with fresh arugula, olive oil and sea salt; meatballs--"just great balls," Schwartz tells us; and escarole salad with salt-cured anchovies, toasted breadcrumbs, and a lemony dressing.[EaterWire]
