fiubrew.jpgBenefiting the Young at Art Children's Museum, The Art of Brew, co-sponsored by B.R.E.W. F.I.U. , an organization created and managed by a collective group of students enrolled in Florida International University’s Hospitality Management Program, will feature all sorts of beers paired with food and, uh, "interactive art based activities" including walk through installations, live painting and sculpture. Event takes place Friday, September 30 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at The Projects Space, 519 NW 1st Ave. in Ft. Lauderdale's no pun intended FAT Village (Flagler Arts and Technology) arts district In addition to the six brewed by B.R.E.W. F.I.U., beers featured include: Magners, Florida Beer, Sierra Nevada, Abita, Palm, Left Hand Stranger, Polestar Pils, Holy Mackerel Special Golden Ale, Holy Mackerel Panic Attack, Native Lager, Monk in the Trunk and PBR.
