Luigi%27s.jpgPasta is dead on Clematis with first the closing of Mambo Italiano's in 2011 and now Luigi's this month. Located on the 100 block of Clematis, Luigi's was opened in early 2011 by Glenn Frechter and Walter Messina, who previously operated Cabana Nuevo Latino out of the same space. The restaurateurs moved Cabana to the west end of Clematis to open their Italian concept in hope of a new success by the recently reconstructed waterfront. Unfortunately, now for West Palm Beach the only thing considered Italian on Clematis is pizza. ---Matt Tylka [EaterWire]
