Endless Food and Drink at Iron Fork; Dinner with Brewjas

DOWNTOWN— The fifth annual Iron Fork presented by The Miami New Times is this Thursday, October 18. Whether you opt for general admission or VIP, it's a pretty great deal. Enjoy a night of unlimited boozing and bites from various restaurants along with music and live chef competition at Grand Central in Downtown Miami. Chef Phillip Bryant of Yardbird Southern Table & Bar will be duking it out with Chef Daniel Serfer of Blue Collar Restaurant for the Iron Fork Award. Truckers Robyn Almodovar, former Hell's Kitchen contestant and behind the Palate Party mobile, and Alfredo Montero of Mr. Good Stuff will face off for the food truck award. Get pre-sale tickets before they're gone. [MNT]

BRICKELL— It is October after all, so this week's wine tasting at Edge Steak & Bar at The Four Seasons will pay homage those Lederhosen-sporting folks with a German/Austrian wine pairing. The weekly Tuesday event is held at a communal table at Edge where you can meet other wine enthusiasts and dine on a two-course selection prepared specially by Chef Aaron Brooks for $35. The menu tonight is comprised of house made German sausages and crispy all-natural chicken along with potatoes and cabbage. [EaterWire]

MIAMI BEACH— Keeping the Oktoberfest festivities going, this week's featured event at Yardbird Southern Table & Bar is the Brewja Dinner: a four course meal paired with seasonal beers.
