Georgia's Union Closes After Three Month Run

Open for just barely more than three months, Georgia's Union, the Southern soul food spin-off from The Morgans Restaurant that replaced Morgan's SoBe location, has now closed its doors too. Owner Barclay Effs tells Miami.com that the Morgans team will focus all "energy and resources into Morgans and the Midtown and Miami District neighborhoods" and that they are "committed to both maintaining and expanding" the establishment. No word yet on any prospects for the space on Purdy Avenue.
