Miami is soon getting its first vegan bakery and café with Bunnie Cakes opening soon in Wynwood. What first began as an online company from home, Bunnie Cakes has expanded to a production facility, featuring the cute little treats in other shops and health cafés like Juice & Java, but will now open shop for the first time. The vegan and gluten-free menu will include coffee, tea, cakes, pastries, sandwiches and soups for vegans (and non-vegans can try too). Bunnie Cakes will be located at a 1,500 square-foot space on 23 Street and Northeast Second Avenue in Wynwood, set to open mid-December. [SO]
