After a summer-long tussle between the Grove establishment and the City about taxes, it looks like Scotty's Landing is staying, for now at least. Short Order reports that "yesterday the City Commission extended the agreement that allows Scotty's and the marina to operate on city-owned property", but it's not set in stone. With 30 days notice, the agreement can be revoked and it seems bidding to replace the space with a new marina and restaurant will begin again later this month. [SO]
